Uplift's programs and services roster was created from the observation of need in many communities. Most programs have a website component along with a face-to-face service component. All programs and services are designed to celebrate and enhance learning in some capacity - from technology, to fitness and nutrition, to educational material and curricula - thereby, improving the overall quality of life for each participant. Services:
Fiscal Sponsorship
Uplift, Inc. can be the Fiscal Sponsor for your project. A Fiscal Sponsorship agreement is a financial relationship between you/your project and Uplift, Inc., a registered 501c3 Non-Profit Organization. This agreement allows you to solicit funds from potential donors for your project as tax-deductible contributions. Learn more about projects we are sponsoring and inquire about us sponsoring your project.
Current Projects:

Black Scholars Index™ (BSI) A timeless online index of Black Scholars from across the world. Black scholars are featured daily along with information about their lives, education, and their areas of work and interests. The site has been in operation since the beginning of 2008 and has won an research award and has been featured in the 2009 Digital Humanitites Conference. top

Teach Me! A research and development project for PreK-3rd grade educational media. It includes exploration of software, TV shows, animation, and printed material. top
Past Projects:
A Woman's World™ A strong support network for women in New Jersey. Program launched in 2005. Social Networking site coming soon. Official website relaunch coming in 2008. top

FreeStyleNEXT™ is intended for HIP-HOP’s next generation and takes “free-styling” to the next level by teaching, encouraging, and using creativity in visual art, computer technology, and various forms of creative writing and multimedia to produce exceptional and tangible masterpieces. Now a part of YouthLab - coming soon. top

GirlCrew! is a web-based community designed to encourage girls to embrace their individual and collective power. Effort launched in 2003 (formerly called 'Project Aiesha'), website originally scheduled for Summer 2007 but has been rescheduled for 2008. A private site is currently in production. top

NEWARKLIVE, a web project sponsored by La Casa De Don Pedro and funded by the ARTSTART grant administered by Newark Council of the Arts in 2002. It was geared towards Newark’s high school students and operated at the Urban League of Essex County. top
